Nurlat graduated with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan, in 2019. He is currently pursuing a MS/PhD degree in mechanical engineering under the supervision of Dr. Gilles Lubineau.  Nurlat's works in the COHMAS Laboratory on stereo digital image correlation techniques for deformed materials and structures.
