I am interested in the development of new numerical tools to predict structural behavior and complicated fracture processes that the traditional tools, such as FEM, fail to perform. Additionally, I'd like to create structural optimization algorithms that can maximize the resistance to failure, such as a fatigue crack growth life maximization.
